SXSW is also known as South by southWest. It is a conference thing with bands from all over the world to showcase. Then becuase it's a band thing Austin
has to take it out of control. there are easily over a 100 parties a day. It is so overwhelming. I am still putting my list together of bands I want to see. I
leave on thursday and come home sunday. So far I only have Spoon, Todd Carey, Rogue Wave, Eric Hutchinson and Bob Schneider. Haha! I am so lost when it comes
to this.

Oh wow sounds AWESOME!
There's the blues and roots festival that Jason Mraz is playing at, over east of Australia.... I just found out Raul Midon is gonna be there too, and tooooo many bands that are not setting foot on my west coast, it's depressing  I wish I could go, but the tickets itself costs like 400 bucks for
the festival!!! This sucks And flying there would probably cost like at least 600 two ways, which doesn't make sense because it's a domestic flight,
but what can you do, everything's so expensive here. Sigh

It is expensive everywhere. It is insane. I would love to fly to go see concerts. But I just can't afford it. It's gas prices that are making
everything ridiculous.

1 more day to Jason Mraz! I tried emailing Bill hoping to get an interview with Jason when he's here in Perth, but no one's gotten back to me. I
wish I knew when he was arriving as well. Ah well...
I hope it will happen someday

They don't reply to anyone at Mrazmanagement. I won a concert 2 years ago for 2 tickets to any show in the year. Then the management team disappeared.

Well there is publicity at Atlantic. or his booking agent that I can try... Hopefully he reads all his snail mail too, so at least there's a chance to know
when he's coming beforehand or something.. ahh...
But well, that was still an awesome show, can't wait for Jack Johnson next!!
How awesome would it be if TP actually came to Australia with Jason for the next tour, it would be perfecttttt

How was Jack Johnson? I don't know if I would go see him in concert. I mean I like the albums of his I have, but he is just so mellow, I don't know how
he would perform. I mean how would he turn these songs into a Show! I need to see him. Rumors say he may be headlining Austin City Limits Festival this year.

That was what I felt too. I mean musically he was amazing, it was like listening to his CD live, every single word and note hit perfectly. It's just his
showmanship as a performer that wasn't as great, I mean he did talk and joke once in awhile, but it's probably like only 10 minutes max out of the
entire show, he was funny though! Matt Costa was there too, they played together on some songs, Matt was great live, just a bit boring as well. He looked bored
while singing actually. lol.
