You Got Me Tab | ||

Okay, here is You Got Me. It's my first tab! Sorry it's a little messy...this yuku thing won't let me use the
correct font!
Intro/Verse e|------------3----- B|--8---1--3--3----- G|--0---0--0--0----- D|--9---2--4--0----- A|--10--3--5--2---- E|-------------3---- Chorus e|-----2--3------------- B|--1--3--3--3--1------- G|--0--2--0--2--0------- D|--2--0--0--0--2------- A|--3-----2--2--3------- E|--------3------------- Repeat this, then only do the C and halfway through the D (the first two chords). I say halfway through the D because she stops to say, "you got me." Bridge e|--------2--2---------- B|--0--0--3--2--1------ G|--0--2--2--3--0------ D|--2--2--0--4--2------ A|--2--------4--3------ E|-----------2---------- Do this once, then repeat only the Em and A (the first two chords). The song goes: Intro Verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge Chorus Twice |

quick question what is (330023) and the (223442) suppose to beI'm not really sure what you're trying to ask... After watching videos of her playing this song on YouTube, it looks like she uses both of the chords you are talking about. Here is God Gave Me Patience. You can use a capo on the second fret, or none. I can't really tell if she uses one or not. Finger picking style used throughout. Intro - G Chord e|--3--- B|--3--- G|--0--- D|--0--- A|--2--- E|--3--- Here is how I pick the intro (I'm not saying it's 100% correct) using the string names: E, A, E, D, E, G, E, B, E, D, E, G, E, D, E, G Verse - Notes in () don't have to be played, but can be if you like. e|--(3)--(8)--0--3-- B|--(3)--(8)--0--3-- G|---0---0---0--0-- D|---0---0---5--0-- A|--(2)--(7)--3--2-- E|---3---8-------3-- Chorus - Notes in () don't have to be played, but can be if you like. e|--(8)--(6)--(3)--- B|--(8)--(6)--(3)--- G|--0----0----0---- D|--0----0----0---- A|--7----5----2---- E|--8----6----3---- The little riff she does during the chorus goes something like this: e|-------------------- B|-------------------- G|----------------0-- D|----0-----0h2----- A|------------------- E|--3----3----------- Bridge e|-----3----- B|--3--3--1-- G|--2--4--0-- D|--0--5--2-- A|--2--5--3-- E|-----3----- Repeat, then add this chord: e|----- B|--3-- Keep sliding between this chord and the C chord that preceeds it. G|--0-- D|--4-- A|--5-- E|------ |

[G] is it what [D5] you want is it what [F#m] you need we go back [A] and forth [E] making war out of peace [D5] and you won't let go [F#m] and I won't give up [A] we go round and round [E] but is it ever enough [F#m] is it what you [Bm] want [F#m] is it what you [Bm] need [F#m] and I won't give [Bm] up [A]

i've been loving this pretty little ditty tp posted on her myspace page. It is originally by Barry Louis Polisar and his version was featured on the
soundtrack to the movie Juno. Sounds best when tp-ified with copious fingerpicking...

I want it too, if I don't figure it out between now and when someone posts it. If I figure it out I will gladly share my knowledge with the rest of the TP
world.
if Elmo can do it so can I |

There's one a few pages back, just a very simplified one, and if you listen to a live recording you probably could try figuring out the rest, but the main
rift is about right I think.. Hopefully I'll start figuring out that song soon too, been too lazy at the moment...

I tried figuring out Don't Work Yourself Up chords by watching a youtube video, but it's not very helpful. TP moves too much when she plays I can
hardly see. Lol...
Dave, will you please come back with your magnificent tabbings? I am too lazy and amateur-ish to tab.... - k e r s h i a

So I've figured out the chords.. Sounds pretty accurate to me... You just have to play around with the plucking to match the rhythm or the way TP plays :)
and once again I posted with the wrong name.... Don't Work Yourself Up Capo on 2nd Fret Intro/Verse: e |-----------3---3--- B |--0---0----3---3--- G |--0---0----0---0--- D |--9---4----0--0h2-- A |--7---5----2---3--- E |-----------3------- Chorus: e |------3---3--2h3--- B |--1---3---3---3---- G |--0---0---0---2---- D |--2---2---0---0---- A |--3---2---2-------- E |------0---3--------
